What are the check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am. Late arrivals are possible if you let us know when booking. A secure key box allows self check-in after 7 pm.
Is breakfast included?+
Breakfast is not included in the base rate. We offer a “local produce” basket (Alentejo bread, Aljezur cheese, seasonal fruit, honey, fresh juice) at €12 per person, to be ordered the day before. Each house has a fitted kitchen for preparing your meals.
Is there wifi and parking on site?+
Free high-speed fibre wifi in all houses and shared areas. Free gated private parking on site, two spaces per house (Casa T3: 3 spaces). EV charging points available on request.
Is there a shared pool?+
Shared pool: available in phase 2 of the project. It will be a heated pool with a solarium area, outdoor shower and shallow children's zone.
How does booking work?+
You send us your request with your dates and number of guests. We confirm availability within 24 hours. You then receive a detailed invoice in our name, payable by bank transfer, MB Way / Multibanco or card. As soon as payment is received, your booking is confirmed and you receive all the practical information.
What are your rates?+
Casa T3: €199 per night for the whole house, up to 6 guests, i.e. from €33 per person based on 6 travellers. Loft: €149 per night for the whole house, up to 4 guests, i.e. from €37 per person based on 4 travellers. The price is for the whole house, whatever the number of guests.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival, full refund. Between 30 and 15 days: 50% of the stay retained. Less than 15 days: non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure (cancelled flight, documented medical emergency).
Do you accept pets?+
Our houses do not accept pets. This rule applies to both houses, without exception, to protect the comfort and health of guests with allergies.
What languages does your team speak?+
Our team speaks Portuguese, English, French and Dutch fluently. Basic German is also covered. WhatsApp is our preferred channel for quick questions, 7 days a week between 8 am and 10 pm.
How far are the beaches?+
The nearest beach, Praia de Odeceixe, is 5 km / 5 minutes by car. Praia do Carvalhal: 16 km. Praia de Monte Clérigo: 22 km. Praia da Amoreira: 23 km. Praia da Arrifana: 23 km. All easily reachable, wild beaches protected within the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park.
Which hikes are accessible from Raízes?+
The Trilho dos Pescadores (Fishermen's Trail) passes 2 km from Casa Raízes: the Aljezur to Arrifana stage is 14 km, moderate level, 5 hours' walk. The Rota Vicentina Historical Way is 6 km away. For families with children we recommend the short Praia da Amoreira trail (3 km, flat, ideal for all-terrain pushchairs).
Are there supermarkets and services nearby?+
Pingo Doce supermarket in Aljezur: 12 km (open 8 am–9 pm every day). Mini-market in Odeceixe: 3 km. Organic market on Saturday mornings in Aljezur. Traditional bakery in Odeceixe. Pharmacy, ATM and petrol station in Aljezur.
How much is a transfer from Faro or Lisbon?+
We offer private Tesla transfers from Faro airport (€150) and Lisbon (€250). Real-time flight tracking, loyalty discounts from the 3rd service. Private door-to-door service with a personal welcome on arrival.
Do you transfer luggage between accommodations?+
Yes, on request. We move your bags from one accommodation to the next along the Rota Vicentina, so you walk the stage with just a backpack. The price is quoted individually, based on the distance between the two accommodations. Learn more about luggage transfer.
