Stay and comfort
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am. Late arrivals can be arranged if mentioned at the time of booking. A secure key box allows self-check-in after 7:00 pm.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the base rate. We offer a local-produce hamper (Alentejo bread, Aljezur cheese, seasonal fruit, honey, fresh juice) for 12 EUR per person, to be ordered the evening before. Every unit has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.
Is there wifi and parking on site?
Free high-speed fibre wifi in all units and common areas. Private gated parking on site, free of charge, two spaces per unit (Casa T3 has 3). EV charging stations available on request.
Is there a shared swimming pool?
Shared pool: available in phase 2 of the project. It will be a heated pool with a solarium area, outdoor shower and a shallow children's zone.
Policies and team
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival with a full refund. Between 14 and 7 days: 50 % of the stay is retained. Less than 7 days: non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure (flight cancellation, documented medical emergency).
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we welcome calm dogs under 25 kg in Casa T3 and the Loft (15 EUR/night supplement, maximum 1 dog per unit). Casa T1 stays pet-free to preserve comfort for allergy-sensitive guests. Please notify us when booking.
What languages does your team speak?
Our team speaks Portuguese, English, French and Dutch fluently. Basic German is also covered. WhatsApp is our preferred channel for quick questions, 7 days a week, from 8 am to 10 pm.

How far are the beaches?
The closest beach, Praia da Amoreira (Aljezur), is 8 km / 12 minutes by car. Praia de Monte Clérigo: 10 km. Praia da Arrifana: 14 km. Praia de Odeceixe: 18 km. All easily reachable, wild beaches inside the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
Which hiking trails are accessible from Raízes?
The Fishermen's Trail passes 2 km from Casa Raízes: Aljezur to Arrifana stage = 14 km, moderate difficulty, 5 hours of walking. The Rota Vicentina Historical Way is accessible 6 km away. For families with children, we recommend the short Praia da Amoreira trail (3 km, flat, ideal for off-road strollers).
Are there supermarkets and services nearby?
Pingo Doce supermarket in Aljezur: 6 km (open 8 am to 9 pm daily). Mini-market in Rogil: 3 km. Organic farmers' market every Saturday morning in Aljezur. Traditional 'Pão Quente' bakery in Rogil: 2 km. Pharmacy, ATM and petrol station in Aljezur.

How much does a transfer from Faro or Lisbon cost?
We offer private transfers from Faro airport (1h30, from 95 EUR) and Lisbon (3h, from 320 EUR) in Mercedes V-Class or C200. Flight tracked in real time, loyalty discounts from the 3rd booking. By public transport: Rede Expressos coach Lisbon to Aljezur (4h, 21 EUR), then local taxi (10 EUR) to Raízes.
Can we rent bikes on site?
Yes: 4 adult hybrid bikes and 2 kids' bikes available free of charge for guests (on reservation). Helmets provided. For e-MTBs or guided rides, we partner with 'BikeAround' in Aljezur (rental 25 EUR/day, on-site delivery available).
